Mar 12 – Da cosa nasce cosa (with video)

On Tuesday, March 12, the Scuola Normale University in Pisa hosted a concert by the Ensemble degli Intrigati, featuring some wonderful pieces by fellow composer friends in a mesmerising library decorated by architect Vasari and crammed with old codes and manuscripts, some of which belonged to Galileo. The programme concluded with my piece, Da cosa nasce cosa. To put it simply, the ensemble played it brilliantly! Luckily, the university has broadcast the whole event live, and a recording is available below. The last movement of Da cosa nasce cosa a fast, exciting, and extremely difficult piece was also performed as an encore. Enjoy the vista!
